Spanish politician Antonio Torre da Costa has been accused of impotency in a sex scandal.
Torre has been a powerful member of the ruling PSOE party since 2006, and is widely seen as being the future prime minister of the country.
He has a long history of alleged misconduct.
Last year, the Spanish Supreme Court upheld his conviction on charges of having an affair with a 15-year-old girl.
A court ruled that the allegations could not be proven, and that the girl was not legally a minor at the time of the affair.
However, a second judge found that the accusations could be proved based on testimony from a witness, who allegedly said that the alleged sexual encounter took place at a bar in the town of Lázaro, where Torre is based.
Torrez has been in jail since last year.
The case is the first to be brought under the new Penal Code, which criminalizes sexual misconduct and attempts to obstruct justice.
Torres alleged affair is not the only scandal that he’s been involved in.
He was also accused of having a child with a 17-year old girl in 2005, which the woman was reportedly forced to register as a rape.
